Samdech Akka Moha Ponea Chakrei HENG SAMRIN, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and President of APA, offered a courtesy call to H.E. Mr. Faisal Alshaya, Kuwaiti Member of Parliament, at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel and Residence on the occasion of the 8th APA Plenary Session hosted by the Kingdom of Cambodia.
On the occasion, H.E. Mr. Faisal Alshaya conveyed regards from the president of the National Assembly of Kuwait to Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei HENG SAMRIN, who has recently assumed the presidency of the APA, and acclaimed the Cambodian parliament for the smooth and successful organization of the 8th APA Plenary Session from 7-12 December 2015 in Phnom Penh, which is a colossal success for the whole Asian nation.
In the meantime, the head of the Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation expressed his thanks to the Parliament of Cambodia for the warmth of hospitality accorded to him and delegation as well as other delegations attending the APA Plenary Session in Cambodia.
In response, the Cambodian National Assembly president expressed his thanks to the Kuwaiti delegation for attending the event and lively sharing experiences and views during the deliberation and discussion so as to score APA’s vision under the joint decision of the entire members of the regional assembly.
The president also informed the delegation that APA has firm stance in the fight against human rights abuses in Asia and the world. He added that the 8th APA Plenary Session has demonstrated the common objectives in the maintenance of peace and stability in Asia and in the world. Through H.E. Mr. Faisal Alshaya, the president also extended his regards to the president of the National Assembly of Kuwait.
