After fruitfully concluding the 8th APA Plenary Session in the evening of 11 December 2015 at Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel and Residence, Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei HENG SAMRIN, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia and President of APA, hosted a solidarity dinner reception in honor of honorable APA delegates, national and international distinguished guests attending the plenary.
The president said on the occasion that in the name of the Cambodian parliament and President of APA, he wished to extend his sincere congratulation on the prestigious outcome scored by the 8th Plenary Session, saying that this achievement stemmed from and reflected the concerted efforts with willingly high sense of responsibility of all delegates who represent peoples in Asia as a whole in seeking and promoting peace, stability, prosperity and sustainable development for their peoples.
He added that the precious outcome realized by the 8th APA Plenary Session was the adoption of 19 draft resolutions and Phnom Penh Declaration, which affirms our common stance and spirit in the fight against terrorism, violence extremism, corruption, the settlement of the issue of migrant workers, gender inequality, chiefly the reduction and eradication of poverty in Asia.
